Abstracts must NOT have been presented elsewhere prior to presentation at the BVNS meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Submit the abstract as an MS Word file (.doc or .docx)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Indicate whether ethical approval was obtained for the study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Font: Times New Roman, size 12<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Paragraphs: 1.5 spacing and fully justified<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Indent each paragraph three spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">The abstract should be a maximum of 500 words<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">The first line should contain the title in capitals; the second line all author(s); the third the institution(s) the author(s) are affiliated with<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organise the body of the abstract as follows:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">A statement of the purpose of the study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">A statement of the methods used<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">A summary of the results presented in sufficient detail to support the conclusions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">A statement of the conclusions reached<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">Do not use subheadings (e.g. methods, results)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-ed1ce471a0256c9fb0fba5db19f543ab\"><strong>Please e-mail submissions to Tom Cardy at Thomas.Cardy@Cave-Vet-Specialists.co.uk<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>The deadline for abstract submission is the 15th March 2026 at 11:59pm.<\/strong>&nbsp;Accepted abstracts will be printed in the Symposium Proceedings.
